We are so excited to welcome you to our stunning venue, Castello di Ristonchi in Tuscany, Italy! Ristonchi Castle is a rustic, 1,000-year-old medieval castle surrounded by olive groves and a forest of chestnut trees and wild edibles. It's not a regular hotel -- it's a CASTLE! There won't be daily maid service during your stay, but all of the basics will be provided for you, such as clean sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, toilet paper, soap and shampoo. The furnishings are typical Tuscan style, and some of the bathrooms are small and quirky, but that's the fun of staying in a historic castle! When you wake up you know you are in Tuscany! There is heating in winter, but no air conditioning in summer. The thick stone walls and fresh mountain breeze should keep you comfortable, or there is a fresh mountain spring water pool that will definitely do the trick! There are limited paid laundry services as well as a steamer service for your wedding attire. There is a bar and small shop where coffee, drinks, ice cream and snacks are available for purchase.

We would love for all guests to join us in staying on-property at Castello Di Ristonchi for all 3 nights of our wedding festivities. We have a master list of all available rooms and as loved ones RSVP, we will be assigning rooms -- it is likely you will be placed in a suite with another couple or friend, whom we'll ensure you're already friends/in touch with. Castello di Ristonchi consists of 30 apartments from studios to 2-bedrooms. Each apartment has its own private bathroom and most have a mini kitchen. Some apartments in the tower have lots of stairs, but provide for the best views!

Of course! If you would like to stay off-property that is perfectly fine, just please let us know! There are villas within a 15 minute drive or, if you'd prefer, you can commute into and out of Florence each day for a more luxurious hotel experience.

We in no way want to require you to go out and get a new outfit, however some guests find additional fashion direction comforting! Welcome Party: Italian summer casual. Think button downs, linen pants, sun dresses, etc. Wedding Day: We would love to see our guests dress up with us! Semi-formal or Cocktail attire is preferred. Pool party & BBQ: Wear what you're comfortable in (and something you're not afraid to get a little flour on while making pasta!) We hope you use this time to relax and recover! Need inspiration? The weather in September should be perfect! Tuscany offers cool evenings and bright and sunny days with temps averaging between 59°F to 81°. There is always the possibility of rain, so please come prepared!

We will be providing transportation from (and back to) a central location in Florence City Center (exact time and location to be determined!) The drive will be about 45 minutes.

Yes! Just please let us know your plan ahead of time so we do not hold the shuttle waiting for you to arrive. If you choose to drive yourself to the venue, there is free on-site parking that you are welcome to use

We are requesting a "soft RSVP" by December 1st, 2024 in order to host as many of our loved ones as possible. You can let us know your intentions through RSVPing on the website tab (or by texting Gillian or Adam). If you have a change of plans, no worries- Just let us know as soon as possible!

Yes, wifi is available in the meeting rooms, Templar Hall, Breakfast Room, Rave Cave and all common areas inside and outside, the pool, and in some guest rooms. Average download is 134 Mbps and upload is 15 Mbps. Peak is 300 Mbps.
